Facebook

I already have a Facebook account and keep up with friends, family and follow different news, magazines, etc. on it.  It is interesting to note all that can be found/followed/played/etc. on this.

Simple Living

I think I shall start a new book list on the topic of simple living. The first will be: Walden; or, Life in the Woods by Henry David Thoreau.

Simplify!!!!

That is the word for the week! One area - one get the trash bag! Get rid of it if you don't use. If it is in good shape whatever it is - Give it away!

I don't need more than half the stuff I keep hold of!

Seriously!

Just discovered that one of my favorite sites is no more! Not that I visited the site every day -- but still. Sprig.com died the death of the economy it seems: http://www.ecorazzi.com/2009/02/26/will-sprigcom-be-the-next-green-victim-of-the-economic-downturn/
So -- new sites to check out: http://www.thedailygreen.com/
and: http://www.ecorazzi.com/

Enjoy!

Week One: Blogging

The hardest thing was wanting to be unique and come up with a fun name that would represent my feelings and interests - I came up with Peridot Haven. My green space - wanting to be more environmentally aware and developing my "space" when at home. A place of comfort and fun.
